SGRR Inter College Bhauwala secure first place in Destrict English Debate

SGRR Inter college Bhauwala secure first position with flying colours in fifth final English debate competition organized by Udita Gera Memorial Trust at SSDIC Bannu Reshcource in Dehradun on 9th september and participated by 24 dibaters. The topic of the debate for the final round was " Technology increses distances rather than  bringing us together". Both the champion girls awarded with a  rolling trophy and cycles by the president of UGMT Mr. Sandeep Bhatiya and the Chief Guest lieutenant karna Mr. KK khanna. Tannu Dobhal and Chitwan Kaur from Phool Chand Nari Shilp IC got second and SDICB IC Bannu secure third position in the debate competition. 

UGMT is dedicated to make Perfect in English to the students of Govt and Govt added school. The cordinater of the trust Mrs. Anita Arora, Mr. Kamal Sachdev are working really very hard for the uplifting for finally poor students to fulfilling the aim of the Udita Gera. School principal Mrs. Damayanti Prandiyal, Block Education Officer Mr.Paknaj sharma, Former principal Mr. Pradeep Dabral congratulated both the both the girls along with mentor English lecturer Mr. Naresh Tamta. SGRR Education mission is blissfully happy with the performance of school. With the hard work of teachers and students the school is continuously reaching at the peak of the progress. Mahak joshi of SGRRIC Bhauwala, a student class 10th secure first prize in English Essay Writing competition By UGMT. 
The Mahak Joshi also secured second position in a state level science seminar held in Uttarkashi under the guidence of Mrs. Kandarp Simalti, first in Role play and second in folk dance competition under the guidence of Mr. Naresh Tamta, Mrs. Ranjana Bisht, Mrs. Neeta Supyal in block sahaspur held in GGIC Kaulagarh Dehradun.The principal of SGRR Nehrugram Mrs. Pratibha Pathak, Senior English lecturer Mr. Dhanajay Uniyal from Shri Laksham IC Pathribag, Mr. Rajesh khali the principal of SSDBIC Reshcource and so other teachers of the SGRR mission appreciated and extended the congratulations. In this auspicious occasion Mr. Yogesh Melkani, Mr. Harendra Negi, Mr. MK Pant, Mr. Sumit Kunjwal, Mr. Anuj Ratudi, Mrs. Neeta Supyal, Mrs. Ranjana Bisht were present.

Udita's Dream  to Make Hindi
Medium Students Fluent In English has come true

Udita Gera Memorial Trust organises English debate, Essay writing  and Poster making competitions for Govt. and  Govt. Aided Hindi Medium schools  every year, in  memory of Udita a young girl if just 18 years, whose aim was to make Hindi medium students fluent in English. She had a dream to uplift the education of financially poor students. The Fifth Debate Competition of Sahaspur Block was organised in DAV Inter college Premnagar on 9th of August. Fourteen schools of Sahaspur Block participated in  Debate, Essay writing and Poster making competitions.
 Result will be declared on 20th of this month. One selected team of each competition will participate in district level competitions which will be held on 7th of september at Sanatan Dharam (Bannu) Inter College Race Course Dehradun. The topic of the debate was " Concrete Jungles ruining Natural Forest".
 Chief guest, Mr. Pankaj Sharma, Block Education Officer appreciated all the participants and suggested  the members of Udita Gera Memorial Trust that they must organise this competition in all the schools of Sahaspur so that other students may also get an opportunity to learn from the participants, how to debate in English. It will boost their confidence in English language.
 So far every year Debate and Essay writing competitions were being organised in DAV Premnagar but the  UGMT Secretary Mr. Kamal K Sachdev and coordinator Mrs Anita Arora assured the Block Education Officer that from next year they will definitely try to organise this activity in other schools also.
Participation certificate was given to all the participants of debate, essay writing competition and poster making competition along with a white T-Shirt and refreshments. Guide teachers were also awarded with appreciation certificate by the Trust.
Definitely this is a unique step taken forward by the members of this organisation to help raise the standard of the students and give a very positive approach by providing such a healthy platform to stand tall with confidence.
